You're comparing a high-res crop sensor camera to a low-res full frame camera! That said, in dpreview's studio comparison, the noise levels look quite comparable at similar ISOs (especially if you put it in COMP or PRINT view). I think the 7500 probably shows more sharpness but it is a small difference.

3 days ago ¡ A full-frame sensor is equivalent to traditional 35mm film and larger than APS-C sensors. Full-frame camera users experience no cropping on their images, so theyâre called full-frame sensors. They capture the entire frame. The larger sensor size means full-frame cameras are generally larger and heavier than APS-C cameras.
35mm / full-frame equivalent - A way of understanding the characteristics of a lens when used on a non-full-frame camera by relating it to the 35mm film format thatâs familiar to many photographers. Most commonly used in reference to focal length: e.g a 28mm lens on an APS-C camera is equivalent to a 42mm lens on a full-frame camera.
However, note the word âniceâ â itâs probably not worth buying a full-frame camera to resurrect zooms that were relatively cheap when new, as their optical quality wonât match modern lenses. Despite this, perhaps the biggest advantage of full frame is the huge range of lenses available, and primes in particular.
Opinion: The myth of the upgrade path. Published Jan 8, 2015 | Richard Butler. The past 18 months has seen a flurry of full frame cameras launched at lower prices than ever before.
